Tawan Thintawornkul

I design and build control systems for environments where reliability is not negotiable - safety-critical railway software, embedded firmware, and industrial machine control, from design through deployment.

By day I develop ATO and ATP train control software (SIL-4/SIL-0) at Alstom, deployed across metro and APM networks in India — Kanpur, Agra, Delhi Line 7 — Malaysia's Klang Valley Lines 1 and 2, and the US at Tampa and Miami airports.

In parallel I take on independent engineering projects — industrial automation, IoT systems, and robotics — end-to-end from hardware through software. Outside of engineering work, I write about system design and build tools for my own workflow — this site being one of them.

End-to-end control systems for industrial & service machines. - Transformed a manually operated concrete mixing plant into an automation-ready system. - Designed and implemented proof-of-concept of automated food process machine, including data acquisition system & process fine-tuning. - Designed and implemented vending-based car washing controller & payment system. - Vehicle washing, vacuum chambers, IoT & Agriculture, Crane of Cement concrete plant and food production equipment. - Led development of IoT-based agricultural automation: fodder greenhouse control and automated poultry feeding system.

Led development of a 3D food printing process for Alua (Thai dessert) and royal-icing dessert decoration based on Liquid Deposition Modelling – secured a national patent pending. Developed a 3D food printer and web-based slicer for dessert printing.
